Whitney Wreath, a wreath manufacturing company in Whitneyville, Maine, has become the first business in the state to sign an agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to strengthen hiring practices and to combat the unlawful employment of illegal aliens. Since 1984, the company has been producing fresh, full balsam wreaths. It is one of the country’s largest producers of fresh holiday wreaths and home decorations.
In 2009, Whitney Wreath was selected as the provider of holiday balsam products for L.L. Bean. Since starting a relationship with multimedia retailer QVC in 1993, the company has become the country’s largest mail-order Christmas wreath producer.
