Mast Young Plants is launching a Facebook page to highlight what’s happening at its Trial Gardens in Grand Rapids, Mich. The page includes more than 200 photos of Mast Young Plants’ new introductions for 2012-13, trial garden photos and highlights of the 2011 gardens. Regular posts and updates will be made on the page as the season continues.
In addition to the Facebook page, Mast Young Plants will also have a living wall display and a new, 12,000-square-foot area for All-America Selections (AAS) trial grounds at the Trial Gardens. The company is celebrating its 10th anniversary of its trial gardens.
The Trial Gardens are located at 3525 Bristol Ave. in Grand Rapids, Mich., and are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from July 23 to Sept. 14. No appointment is necessary, but visitors can schedule a guided tour by calling (616) 784-0583.
