The Sustainability Task Force of the N. American Hort. Supply Assoc. is asking association members to submit info on the efforts they have made or plan to make to implement sustainable practices. The task force is asking companies to identify areas they have focused on, worked to improve or plan to improve related to sustainability. The task force plans to review the submissions and put together a unified statement for the supply chain. The goal of compiling the document is to show other industry members and those outside the industry what every sector is doing in regards to sustainability. The association also plans to use the document as a marketing tool for sustainability leadership. Info is being collected by Jessica Hall of Wetsel Inc., who is chair of the task force.
