N.G. Heimos Greenhouses and Millstadt Young Plants in Millstadt, Ill., will host a poinsettia trial open house on Nov. 18-19 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Over 100 poinsettia varieties will be featured in a comparison trial. Breeders represented include Syngenta Flowers, Ecke, Dummen and Ball Horticultural Co./Selecta. Representatives from each of the companies will be available to answer questions concerning their plants. Appointments are available and refreshments will also be served.
