From Cornell Cooperative Extension, Floriculture program:
A Nitrogen Stewardship Meeting has been scheduled for Dec. 19 in Riverhead, N.Y.
Concerns about nitrogen levels in groundwater have reached an all time high. The Nitrogen Stewardship Meeting is an educational opportunity to discuss the science and the issues surrounding Nitrogen Best Management Practices. All growers are urged to attend this important meeting.
The meeting will take place at Polish Hall, 214 Marcy Ave, Riverhead, N.Y. 11901, from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., light breakfast and lunch included.
