Plug and cutting professionals from all over the world will be in San Jose, Calif., Sept. 12-14, to hear from industry speakers, visit product vendors and collect timely and practical ideas during the OFA Plug & Cutting Conference, which is only event aimed exclusively at the plug and cutting profession. The conference features more than 40 educational sessions, an all-day grower/supplier tour, hands-on workshops and a 40+ booth trade show.
Some of the educational sessions will cover the basic principles and techniques of plug production, optimizing the root zone environment, recognizing disorder, insect and disease signs and symptoms, managing photoperiodic light for production and scheduling and growth regulator use on plugs and liners. Concurrent educational sessions will also be presented in Spanish.
