A new partnership between two green industry companies offers a new system for buying groups, retailers, vendors and brands. OrderEase (formerly LinkGreen) and Marketing Garden, the distributors of The Perfect Plant, have joined forces to create an integrated ordering system that reduces costs, improves accuracy and speeds fulfillment for users.
The partnership also allows brands and customers to come together in virtual industry trade shows throughout the year. Through the companies’ technology, green industry brands showcase new products while easing the ordering process with real-time chat options between buyer and seller. With most on-site trade shows shuttered for the near future, the technology creates virtual “booths,” where sales reps can discuss the features and benefits of their products and customers can view products and their attributes, chatting with sales staff in real-time and placing orders, much as they would in a physical trade show booth.
Utilizing Marketing Garden’s platform, The Perfect Plant, for garden retailer websites and in-store customer engagement, the partnership provides support for OrderEase’s clients, which includes De Vroomen Bulbs, Scotts Miracle-Gro Canada, Garden Works USA, J.C. Bakker, Aquascape, Grodan, Century Tool & Die, among others. By forming a partnership with Marketing Garden, OrderEase plans to help its customers transition their processes into a digital, cost-effective, platform for staff training and customer engagement.
The merger aims to provide cost-effective solutions for the green industries. While Marketing Garden’s The Perfect Plant technology provides staff support, customer engagement (both in-store and online), and customer service, OrderEase connects retailers and wholesalers to all their channels through online product catalogs and a centralized order hub. The wholesaler product information can be synchronized with retailers' point of sales systems and webstores for synchronized commerce.
