According to a press release, the Perennial Plant Association will host its first “PPA: Virtual Edition” event scheduled for June 17, 2020 on New Ways to Communicate. Presented in partnership with GardenComm, this webinar will feature five speakers who will each give a quick, 15-minute presentation on communication and marketing ideas to use.
The lineup of marketing experts include Jessica DeGraaf from Proven Winners; C.L. Fornari, aka The Garden Lady; Jo Ellen Meyers Sharp from Write for You!; and David Wilson from Overdevest Nurseries. Following the educational webinar, participants can participate in Happy Hour (limited tickets available) where they are invited to grab their drink of choice, turn on their camera, and join select speakers and PPA Board members for a structured conversation.
More information and registration is available here. Additional “Virtual Edition” events will be scheduled throughout the summer.
Additionally, PPA formally announced that its National Symposium, originally scheduled for Lancaster, Pennsylvania in July, has been moved to July 26-30 with the 2022 event scheduled for July 25-29, 2022 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
