With the recent introduction of Philips GreenPower LED lights to the North American horticulture market, Philips Lighting has become a member of the Floriculture Research Alliance. The alliance, which was established in 2008, focuses on research that covers a wide range of areas important to the floriculture industry. The research is developed by Mich. St. Univ., Univ. of Minn., Clemson Univ., N.C. St. Univ. and Univ. of Fla. in collaboration with USDA-Agricultural Research Service and leading horticulture companies.
