Plant Development Services Inc., developer of the Encore Azalea, Southern Living Plant Collection and the Sunset Western Garden Collection, is debuting new varieties and offerings at the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) Conference in the San Francisco bay area.
Four new varieties have been added to the Encore Azalea line, bringing the collection to a total of 29 varieties of bloom colors and sizes with improved characteristics, such as increased cold-hardiness.
APLD attendees can also view new varieties from the Sunset Western Garden Collection, which officially launched in May. The collection focuses exclusively on top performing plants for the Western gardener. Sunset collaborated with the company to develop a first-rate custom collection for any Western backyard. Distribution will expand to the 13 Western states in the Sunset reading area in the coming years.
