PlantHaven International and Green Fuse Botanicals are joining forces to expand the Pinks By Whetman program to North American growers.
Beginning Week 20 of 2026, Green Fuse will produce unrooted cuttings of the Selecta One Pinks By Whetman program, including the Star Single and American Pie collections, from its Somis, California, facility.
The Whetman collection is managed exclusively by PlantHaven. Selecta One acquired the Whetman genetics in 2024, and PlantHaven remains the exclusive management partner for the program in North America.
By opening production of unrooted cuttings to California, Green Fuse is providing North American growers with quick access, quality and supply flexibility. Cuttings are harvested from virus-indexed, tissue-culture based stock in Ventura County.
“We are excited for increased accessibility of premium cuttings for growers,” said Robert Bett of PlantHaven. “The Whetman program has always set the global standard in hardy dianthus. Now, with Green Fuse producing domestically, we’re able to offer the highest quality cuttings with wide brokerage access for growers across North America.”

In keeping with Green Fuse’s grower-centric model, the cuttings will be available through any brokerage company. This provides flexibility for growers to source premium material seamlessly through their existing relationships.
“Green Fuse has built its reputation on innovation and grower service,” said Jim Devereaux of Green Fuse. “We’re proud to bring the Whetman program into our Somis production, ensuring the genetics reach the market quickly and with the quality North American growers demand.”
