Mark your calendars for “Plantpeddler Variety Day” on August 4, 2017 in Cresco, Iowa, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
According to a press release, Plantpeddler’s 2017 trial gardens includes over 1200 varieties of vegetative annuals displayed in large containers, baskets, window boxes and beds. As a major supplier of rooted cuttings from worldwide sources, the Plantpeddler trial includes a wide cross section of key genuses and unique lines from international plant breeders. In addition to the trial gardens, educational lectures will be given by plant breeders and industry experts, there will be facility tours, and vendor displays to complete the information and networking packed day. This day will also include a complimentary lunch of locally sourced foods. There is no charge for this event, held at the Plantpeddler facilities at 524 7th Street SW, Cresco, Iowa.
