Cresco, Iowa-based grower Plantpeddler has announced that phase two of its expansion project is underway. According to a press release, Plantpeddler is adding 100,000 square feet to its facility - increasing its growing space to over 550,000 square feet.
This expansion phase includes:
- Expansion of the support facility with dedicated young-plant starting area
- New state-of-the art greenhouse construction
- High-tech automation
- New shipping and dock facilities
- Expanded genetics trial garden.
The project brings Plantpeddler's investment into its infrastructure over $10 million. Additionally, the company is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for this expansion on Monday, June 17 at 9.m. CST. For more information, contact Plantpeddler owner Mike Gooder at mikeg@plantpeddler.com
