Premier Tech has acquired Malpec Peat Moss Ltd., in New Brunswick, Canada, with its corporate office in Rexton. The acquisition will support the deployment of various manufacturing and commercial strategies while increasing Premier Tech Horticulture’s strategic reserves of sphagnum peat moss in eastern Canada.
Premier Tech will integrate 52 Malpec employees to its team, expanding its workforce to nearly 2,100 employees worldwide, in 15 countries and in seven Canadian provinces. The Malpec employees will join the Business Unit Premier Tech Horticulture, in the Horticulture and Agriculture Group, looking to strengthen the company’s manufacturing presence in New Brunswick.
