RISE – Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment, headquartered in Washington, D.C., is seeking a new president. Current RISE president Allen James will retire August 31, 2010. The RISE president is responsible for leadership and management of the association, as well as its spokesperson, providing leadership and advocacy. The president also leads a professional staff of four focusing on government and regulatory affairs, communications and member services. The position is located in Washington, D.C. and the new president will assume duties on June 1, 2010 to allow for an overlap with Allen James and a smooth transition.
