During the month of October every time a pink orchid or calla lily is purchased on the Rocket Farms’ web site, the company will donate the proceeds to breast cancer research. This is the 2nd year that the Salinas, Calif., grower has conducted its Flowers for the Fight Against Breast Cancer Campaign. The company is also sending pink orchids to all the hospitals and research centers near the company's Salinas headquarters to show its support for those who work to fight breast cancer every day. Rocket Farms has 9 growing facilities throughout California with more than 5.5 million sq. ft. of greenhouse space.
