Society of American Florists’ 30th Annual Congressional Action Days, March 8-9, in Washington, D.C., will enable floral industry members from across the country to tell their story and voice their concerns to their Congressional representatives.
Speakers include former congressman J.C. Watts, who will share leadership tactics and review hot-button issues as the country heads into 2010 midterm elections. Political columnist Jeffrey Birnbaum will share do’s and don’ts he’s learned studying politics and politicians.
SAF senior lobbyists Lin Schmale and Jeanne Ramsay will outline key points and help attendees put industry issues into personal perspective for their visits to legislative offices.
