SAF names 2007 Best in Class winners

The Society of American Florists awarded spray rose ‘Kelly’ Best in Show at its 2007 Outstanding Varieties competition.

‘Kelly,’ from Eufloria Flowers, features “great color and consistent flowers,” according to judge Terril Nell, floriculture professor and chairman at University of Florida. “It has a number of flower stages represented, which a spray rose should have. For a consumer, that represents a longer-lasting product.”

Eufloria’s standard rose ‘Sweet Avalanche,’ won in its class.

Chrysanthemum: ‘Anastasia Green’ from Uniflor Colombia/Liberty Blooms.
