Scabiosa

Jelitto Perennial Seeds is offering ‘Moon Dance,’ a consistent seed strain of the University of Georgia’s patented ‘Lemon Sorbet.’

Both are neater and lower growing than the species. They have been proven hardy to the Rocky Mountains and have withstood the heat in the Southeast at the University of Georgia.

Plants have short, wiry stems that carry dozens of long-lasting light-yellow blossoms with stamens that resemble pins on a pincushion.

‘Moon Dance’ is compact growing, drought resistant and does not need a lot of care.

Plants reach 16 inches tall and can be spaced 16 inches apart. They are hardy in Zones 5-8.
