The June 2012 Seeley Conference, a think-tank event that promotes the discussion of commercial floriculture issues, has been postponed for a year to allow time for a strategic overhaul.
The 26th annual Seeley conference was held at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. in June 2011. Following the conference, the board of directors met to assess that event and discuss the future of the conference. The result of the meeting was an initiative to restructure the conference, and possibly change the venue and format.
The board plans to send out an online survey in the near future to solicit feedback and suggestions for a revamped Seeley Conference.
