Skagit Gardens introduces a new, non-fading, red coreopsis. New to the Big Bang series, Mercury Rising has large, single, red flowers with a bright yellow center. Vigorous but compact, it forms a mound that is covered with flowers. Like the others in the Big Bang series, it does not require vernalization and blooms continuously until fall. Drought-tolerant and good for beds, borders and large containers, Mercury Rising will be available for growers next month.
