Smithers-Oasis acquires Floralife

 Smithers-Oasis Co., an international manufacturer of floral foam and related products headquartered in Cuyahoga Falls , Ohio , purchased Floralife Inc., a manufacturer of postharvest floral products, from AgroFresh Inc. AgroFresh purchased Floralife in April 2006.

Floralife in Walterboro , S.C. , is best known for its postharvest products for extending the life of fresh cut flowers and container-grown plants, including EthylBloc, which reduces damage from exposure to ethylene.
