Firegold is a trademarked plant that is part of Bailey Nurseries’ First Editions plant collection.
This spirea has foliage that shines throughout the growing season to create prolonged garden interest. Spring growth starts out as soft yellow that transitions to lemon-lime. Flowers are creamy-white.
This shrub reaches 4-6 feet tall and 5-7 feet wide. It is vase shaped, which allows it to be a backdrop or focal point in the garden.
Hardy in Zones 4-8.
