T.O. Plastics Inc. has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification of its manufacturing facility located in Clearwater, Minn. The company manufactures thermoformed plastic parts and packaging to a wide variety of market sectors including horticulture, medical, electronics, industrial, food and consumer.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard is a set of quality practices that ensures the use of effective processes that are consistently monitored and continually improved. As the industry standard for quality management systems, ISO 9001:2008 certification requires evaluation by an independent, accredited auditing body.
Earlier this year the company ISO 13485:2003 certification of its manufacturing facility in Otsego, Minn.
