Soda’. This is the purple addition to the Heuchera Soda series, which includes Heuchera ‘Cherry Cola’, Heuchera ‘Ginger Ale’ and Heuchera ‘Root Beer’.The Soda series is known for heavy-blooming, showy flowers in the spring and early summer. This new introduction is among many new cultivars the company will be introducing to the marketplace this year.
Heuchera ‘Grape Soda’ has dusky-purple spring leaves topped with light purple flowers that blossom spring through summer. From summer to fall, the leaves turn purple with a slight burnishing of silver. Its combination of villosa, americana and micrantha breeding enables ‘Grape Soda’ to have winter color and grow well in the Deep South.
