University of Florida calls for grower responses to water conservation survery

The University of Florida needs growers' help for a survey on greenhouse and nursery growers about decisions with water conservation and treatment technologies. The survey's stated goal is to "aid producers of nursery and floriculture to implement sustainable, alternative sources of water to enhance long-term economic viability while decreasing dependence on potable water." 

The project is also part of a larger U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Specialty Crop Research Initiative (SCRI) project that aims to improve water management technology. All survey answers will remain anonymous. It is also available in both English and Spanish. The information obtained by the survey will be used in extension outreach materials to be distributed upon completion. Those interested can take the survey here.
