Veranda O fungicide registered for use in California

Veranda O fungicide from OHP Inc. is especially effective on ornamental plant diseases botrytis and rhizoctonia and other hard-to-control diseases including alternaria, anthracnose and powdery mildew. It contains the active ingredient polyxin D, a natural antibiotic and fermentation product of a soil bacterium. Formulated as a water dispersible granule, it carries a 4-hour restricted entry interval and a Caution signal word. Veranda O has virtually no toxicity to land mammals, insects and birds, and degrades rapidly within 2-3 days It is designated as a biochemical fungicide by the U.S. EPA Bio-Pesticide Division.
