BioSafe Systems announced that ZeroTol 2.0, a broad spectrum bactericide/fungicide, is now registered for use in California.
ZeroTol 2.0 contains 27.1 percent hydrogen dioxide and 2 percent peroxyacetic acid. The ZeroTol 2.0 label has also been improved to include Tobacco Mosaic Virus.
ZeroTol 2.0 kills on contact to reduce populations of dormant spores and active disease organisms. This chemistry reduces disease pressure from both bacterial and fungal pathogens and is ideal for mist propagation and spray booms. ZeroTol 2.0 leaves no residues and can be used on a variety of greenhouse/nursery crops and turf grasses. ZeroTol 2.0 has four-hour REI.
ZeroTol 2.0 can be tank mixed with a compatible systemic chemistry or insecticide to improve total disease control. For foliar applications, use ZeroTol 2.0 to control pathogens like Botrytis, Alternaria, Powdery and Downy Mildew, Bacterial Blight, Xanthomonas. When used as a drench, ZeroTol 2.0 controls Pythium, Fusarium, Phytophthora, and Algae on plugs and root cuttings.
