Desch Plantpak produces thermoform pots and containers, transport trays, marketing trays, seed trays, propagation trays and bedding plant packs. All the company’s products are made from polypropylene and polystyrene, PET polyester or biopolymers. The polypropylene and polystyrene sheets are produced in the company’s factories using advanced extrusion technologies. This technology enables Desch Plantpak to use 100 percent recycled raw materials as part of its material supply in its production processes. Production is both in-line and off-line. The largest proportion of the sheets are multi-layer extrusions such as two color terra cotta/black sheet. The maximum number of layers presently used is five. Desch Plantpak has six production sites in four countries.
