Veronica x ‘Spike’ was selected for clean foliage and extra long blue flowers that bloom in July. Flowers are held on 12-to-15-inch stems and last for three to four weeks. The basal foliage looks good all year long and is semi-evergreen. The plants prefer a well drained soil in full sun. Their hardiness iswithin zones 4-9.
