A Miatech humidification system, with timer and/or temperature controls, utilizes the simple principle of evaporative cooling to maintain precise growing conditions within the greenhouse.
The system lowers temperature as much as 25°F (15°C) by maintaining proper relative humidity levels. The mist released by the system cools the air at the highest levels. The cool air then falls to the level of the growing area while the hotter air rises to be cooled by the mist. This continuous cycle provides even temperature distribution over the area, along with the added benefit of better hydration through humidification.
