BUGFLOW by BioBee
When you think of an insect “gun,” you probably picture the Nerf-like salt guns sending unwanted pests (we’re looking at you, spotted lanternfly) to their demise. The BUGFLOW by BioBee does quite the opposite. It acts as a disperser for beneficial insects and mites for greenhouse and field use. According to the company, the device was developed by experienced integrated pest management professionals for “uniform release and application” of helpful bugs.
The BUGFLOW acts as an attachment to any suitable handheld blower — the company recommends the Makita DUB185Z, or the Milwaukee M18 or DeWalt DCV100 with an adapter. With the attachment in place, growers simply fill the chamber with their chosen biological material, adjust the rate of flow to their liking and activate the blower for dispersal up to 13 feet. The product promises a high survival rate of predatory mites during application, especially when paired with its wide-mouth funnel accessory.

Wedge SuperLyte by Georgia Boot
Work boots are known to be clunky and heavy, particularly when maximum protection is required. But the Wedge SuperLyte collection from Georgia Boot bucks the trend by cutting weight without compromising ruggedness and quality. Built with “barnyard-proof” SPR full-grain leather (billed as three times stronger than conventional leather), the SuperLyte comes in three styles: an ankle-height lace-up, a Chelsea ankle-height pull-on and a tall 11-inch pull-on.
All styles arrive with a removable AMP X-Lite memory foam insole. The slip-resistant EVA and rubber outsoles meet ASTM F2892 Electrical Hazard standards. Based on our own in-house trials of the Wedge SuperLyte Chelsea boots, they are surprisingly feather-like on the foot while feeling tough enough to take on greenhouse tasks.
